FC Augsburg was founded in 1907 and is the largest football club in Swabian Bavaria. They have moved back ad forth the second and third division for a long time, experienced difficulties during the early 2000s before suffering relegation to the fourth division for two seasons. They have since recovered, were promoted and returned to the Bundesliga in 2010/111. They finished in 15th place during the previous season and enter this match-up as the soccer betting underdogs against Borussia Dortmund.

Since joining Borussia Dortmund in 2017 from Manchester City as a 17-year old, Jadon Sancho has improved leaps and bounds. Last season, his 14 assists were a Bundesliga best and if you add that to his 12 goals scored, that’s a total of 26 scores that he was involved in, one more than what teammate Marcus Reus’ total and he was German Football Player of the Year.
