Granted, Vegas has a reputation for being the gambling center of the world, but there’s so much more to enjoy. That’s why you won’t just find betting options on our list, but also attractions and shows!

All right, we’ve kept you in suspense long enough. Here are our Vegas must dos!

Participate in Big Game Betting

Going to Vegas while the Kentucky Derby is on? Maybe on Superbowl Sunday? Whatever the case may be, if you want to place a bet on the big game, Las Vegas is the place to do it.

You can place a chunky bet on your favorite horse or team, then sit back and relax at the sports center, watching games unfold on TVs as big as the wall!

Even if you’re used to online sports betting, it’s just not the same as sitting with a crowd, a cold drink in one hand and your ticket gripped in the other. Maybe you’ll win big and buy a round for the bar! The choice is yours.

Have a Park Life Ramble

Las Vegas isn’t all about the casinos and gambling sites. In fact, as it happens, commercial development has moved away from all of that. Now it centered itself around providing a friendly location for pedestrians to enjoy the great outdoors.

The Park MGM stands as one of Vegas’s proudest locations, giving you the chance to experience a tourist destination for the masses if ever we saw one. Why not grab a quick photo by the 40ft sculpture known as Bliss Dance? Or you could take a pleasant stroll around the Park’s grounds. How about topping that time off with a Shake Shack burger and watching the world go by?

Even if you don’t want to spend the night, the Park is definitely a must-see spot in Vegas.

Hear the Jingle of Money in the Casinos

You won’t get far in Las Vegas without hearing that familiar jingle of slots played on a loop in every casino. Each resort has hundreds of tables and machines. No matter your game, Vegas will have it.

Why not indulge in a few hands of blackjack at one of the tables there? Perhaps you’d feel more comfortable placing your bets while playing a game of roulette. How about enjoying a fun game of beer pong at O’Sheas Casino? Gambling doesn’t have a limit in Las Vegas. You can pretty much bet on anything.

Experience Fremont Street

Freemont street is part of old Vegas, but it’s seen a revitalizing effort like no other. The Fremont Street Experience is everything. It’s a street featuring dozens of vendors, performers, restaurants, and shows. The entire thing is covered by a LED-enabled canopy that syncs up to the local DJs at night. If you want a break from the casinos and you want to see something weird, Freemont street has you covered.

Freemont Street has everything. There’s a zip line, the famous Heart Attack Grill, singers, street performers, and incredible artists. On top of that, you’ll find some excellent pubs such as the Beauty Bar, the Vanguard Lounge and the Commonwealth. Just off Freemont Street, you’ll find Pizza Rock, a restaurant that quite possibly makes the best pizza in Vegas. We’ll leave it at that.

Bellagio Fountain

The Bellagio Fountains have become synonymous with Las Vegas tourists. These 1,214 water jets forcing thousands of gallons of water into the air happens to be the city’s most Instagrammed attraction. Why not join in? Take a few snaps and selfies yourself, then watch as the magic unfolds.

The bedazzling fountain show is synced to over 30 different songs. As Frank Sinatra belts out his classic swing, the fountain shoots up in perfect harmony.

Welcome to Burlesque

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. We all know Vegas wouldn’t be the same without its slightly naughty side, and that’s where the burlesque comes into play. These days, you don’t have to pay to get in. A lot of casinos feature girls pole dancing around the table games.

However, if you’re looking for something a little more exotic, you could go for the Zombie Burlesque, found at Planet Hollywood. Also at Planet Hollywood is the Crazy Girls show. Meanwhile, the Flamingo has X Burlesque. The more adventurous viewer might enjoy the artistic nudity of Zumanity by Cirque du Soleil at New York New York.

Remember…

Las Vegas is a destination city! It has some of the best shows, food, games, and entertainment in the world. There’s so much to do; you may never want to leave. At the very least, you’ll book a second visit the moment that you get home. Just remember, Vegas isn’t going anywhere. The shows, the talent, even your favorite bartenders will be there when you come back.

It’s easy to see why Vegas is such a popular tourist destination. We’ve given you just a few of our favorite Vegas must dos, but there’s a whole city of possibility out there. Next time you go, don’t be afraid to explore.
